We will begin by revisiting concepts learned in sixth grade. We will, then, venture forth to appreciate the legacy of Rome & culminate the unit with a discussion on the downfall of Rome.

This year, like many others, is certain to bring with it many new and exciting experiences. The emphasis in our class this year will be to continue building on content knowledge with a greater focus on informational texts & primary sources. I will endeavor to help you hone and augment your academic vocabulary and build on grammar fundamentals. Our enriched Language Arts and History course aligns with CCSS and includes additional readings with increased complexity. This is designed to excite & challenge you to imbibe all that our textbook adoption (Study Sync) has to offer.
